Samwarthika Ayurveda Hospital is one among the famous Ayurvedic Hospitals in Ernakulam district of Kerala, providing world class Ayurveda treatments in Kochi along with Panchakarma, Yoga and Meditation, Physiotherapy, Dietary services and Patient counselling. Located in a riverside city Muvattupuzha, where the name of the city and the river are the same, Samwarthika Hospital has emerged as one of the best Ayurvedic Hospital in Kochi offering Ayurveda therapies based on the authentic Ayurveda principles and guidelines. The city, where it is based, is a place where the confluence of three rivers occurred and thus the name Muvattupuzha. This is an ancient city, once was a spice hub. Spices and hill produce were collected in large quantities from the high ranges and traded in large volumes. Tonnes of spices were transported to Alappuzha, known as venice of the east. Inland waterways were used to transport the spices and goods to major cities like Kochi and Alleppey. Pepper like produces were stored in large warehouses known as Pandikasalas established by the erstwhile rulers of the land – the kingdom of Travancore. A concrete bridge across the river constructed by the British during 1914 is still fully functional and connects the two pieces of the city.
